Use the hashtag: #GoodTroubleOnline
Comment on your friends’ posts too; it helps more people see it.
2. EMAIL
Send a message to your lawmakers.
Just copy one of our ready-made messages and paste it into an email.
(We’ll show you exactly where to send it. It takes 2 minutes.)
3. TEXT
Send a quick message to 3 friends or family members.
Use our pre-written texts. Just copy, paste, and send.
4. TAG
Tag people and groups in your social media posts.
Tag friends, organizations, and your elected officials so they see and share the message.
5. REPEAT
Keep posting! You don’t have to stop after one post.
Repost powerful messages from others. Keep the momentum going all day.
6. GO LIVE (Optional)
If you’re comfortable, go live on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok,
Talk about the issue that matters most to you. Even 2 minutes helps raise awareness.
How to Join the Good Trouble Digital Protest
You don’t need to be tech-savvy to join us. If you can copy, paste, or post a photo, you can protest. Follow these simple steps. Every action helps make noise and drive change.
